The Individualized Learning Plan is a
custom-designed curriculum based on your student's current education track,
credit opportunities offered by the school, your student's personal interests,
and his or her career goals. Before participants begin their Disney College
Program, we invite them to explore the multitude of educational opportunities
that are available. Together, you can outline an Individualized Learning Plan
that will suit your student's needs and decide what opportunities may exist for
awarding credit.
While on the Disney College Program,
participants can choose from multiple educational opportunities that have been
designed specifically for them. Options include:
Courses
recommend for college credit by the American Council on Education
Professional Development Study
called "The Business of Showbusiness", where participants will have the
opportunity to explore how specific organizational units are managed and
"world-class" Guest service provides magical memories.
The Leadership Speaker's Series, where
Disney Leaders share their career paths and help participants with theirs
Spend time at one of three
Disney Learning Centers, where
computers, books, videos and computer-led learning activities provide a rich
range of learning opportunities
Partner with leaders to connect classroom
learnings to the reality of the corporate work environment
While on the Disney College Program, the
opportunities for learning abound, and participants can create their own
package of learning offerings. A sample of an Individualized Learning Plan is
available below.
