Educational Advocate Overview
Students have many options to earn academic credit
for their participation in the Disney College Program.
The Disney College Program encourages all interested
college and university-level educators to become Disney College Program
Educational Advocates. Current Educational Advocates include college and
university educators from across the United States and Puerto Rico who
collaborate with the Disney College Program team in many different ways. This
may include assisting with the marketing of recruitment presentations to
offering valuable feedback that has continually shaped the program.
What Does an Educational Advocate Do?
Educational Advocates collaborate with the Disney
College Program team in a variety of ways. Many of our contacts grant credit to
students. Others discuss the Disney College Program in their classes. While
some explain the value of the Disney College Program in their meetings and with
their executive boards. All of our partners help share information about this
great opportunity with their students.
Educational Advocates assist the Disney
College Program team in the following ways:
Informing your colleagues about the Disney
College Program and encouraging them to become partners themselves
Partnering with your recruiter to determine the
most effective ways to expand awareness of the Disney College Program on your
campus
Highlighting the Disney College Program during
student orientation meetings, class discussions, career fairs or advising
sessions
Distributing or displaying Disney College
Program collateral (posters, rack cards, banners or brochures) describing the
program or informing readers about an upcoming presentation
Encouraging students to attend the Disney College
Program presentation and pursue a role in the program
Offering credit to your students for
participation in the program
