The Disney Difference

Participants in Disney College Program also become a part of the Cast Member team at the Disneyland® Resort. This means they'll be able to treat themselves and their families and friends to the Disney Difference, which includes programs such as commuter assistance, discounts on food and merchandise, theme park admission, and other benefits Cast Members can enjoy. All Cast Members receive more information about these offerings once they are hired at the Disneyland Resort.

Below is an outline of a few of Disney Difference offerings.

Commuter Assistance
Through the Disney Commuter Assistance program, Cast Members will find resources, options and incentives to help promote cleaner air in the region.

  • OCTA Employer Pass
The OCTA Employer Pass (E-Pass) is a FREE annual bus pass available to Cast Members of the Disneyland Resort who ride OCTA buses to work. E-Pass eliminates the need to purchase bus tickets or passes and is valid for one full year.

  • Vanpooling
For local participants, vanpooling may be an economical option for participants who live in or near vanpooling regions. A vanpool consists of seven to 15 Cast Members riding together in a van to work. Vanpools work best for those with consistent work schedules, and each group determines its own commute schedule and pick-up/drop-off locations. The Disneyland Resort provides a $60 tax-free monthly subsidy to reduce costs. Riders save more by applying $45 pretax from their salary to the vanpool fare. Fares are paid through convenient weekly payroll deductions.

When minimum ridership requirements are met, the primary driver pays no fare. This is compensation for driving, tracking ridership and completing a monthly report. More information will be available regarding vanpooling options once participants begin their program.

Merchandise
Disney College Program participants receive a discount on certain merchandise at the Disneyland Resort during their program. The discount applies to a wide variety of the merchandise sold throughout the Disneyland Theme Parks, as well participating stores and restaurants in the Downtown Disney® District.

Resort Hotels
With the Disneyland Friends and Family Offer, Cast Members can take advantage of discounted rates on accommodations at Disneyland hotels, based on availability. Cast Members can even make discounted reservations for their friends and family members! (Please Note: After Disney College Program Cast Members check-in and complete Disney Traditions their first official day, will they then be eligible for these discounts.)

Dining
Cast Members can treat themselves and their friends and family to a discount at participating dining locations across the Disneyland Resort and select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District. Some restrictions apply; however, there is no limit to the number of Guests a Cast Member may have.

A complete listing of participating dining locations and the meal times is available to Cast Members on the The Hub once they are hired.

Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets
Cast Members can purchase discounted tickets to Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure® Park at the TEAM Center, which is open exclusively to Disney Cast Members. Cast Members will have access to updated information regarding the current prices once they are officially hired.

TEAM Center
TEAM Centers offer Cast-exclusive merchandise, greeting cards, discount tickets to local attractions and events, and many services to make the lives of our Cast Members easier. There are four TEAM Centers open to our Cast Members, and they offer photo processing, dry cleaning, jewelry repair, tickets to local sports events, and much more.

TEAM Discounts
The TEAM Discounts program turns Cast IDs into valuable discount tools at many local on and off-property businesses. Cast Members have access to a complete listing of these businesses, restaurants and hotels on The Hub.

Partners! Federal Credit Union
The Partners! Federal Credit Union was founded in 1968 to serve the Disneyland Cast and their family members. Alongside the Towne Centre branch in Anaheim, Partners! is open in the Team Disney-Anaheim Building in the TEAM Center and in the Fullerton area.

Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit is available for any banking institution anywhere in the United States. Cast Members may sign up for direct deposit on The Hub shortly after arriving. This is a free service!

Community Service
Service and community are cornerstones in the Disney philosophy, and as a part of the Disney College Program internship, participants will have the opportunity to work with the Disney VoluntEARS team and their program peers to elect a service project to sponsor.
