The Individualized Learning Plan is a
custom-designed curriculum based on your current education track, credit
opportunities offered by your school, your personal interests, and your career
goals. Before participants begin their Disney College Program, we invite them
to meet with their faculty advisor and explore the multitude of educational
opportunities that are available. Together, you can outline an Individualized
Learning Plan that will suit your needs and decide what opportunities may exist
for credit.
While on the Disney College Program,
participants can choose from multiple educational opportunities that have been
designed specifically for them. Options include:
Courses recommend for college credit by the
American Council on Education (Organizational Leadership and Marketing
You)
Professional Development Study called, "The
Business of Show Business", where participants will have the opportunity to
explore how specific organizational units are managed and "world-class" Guest
Service provides magical memories
The Leadership Speaker's Series, where Disney
Leaders share their career paths and help you with yours
Spend time at one of four Disney Learning
Centers, where computers, books, videos and computer-led learning activities
provide a rich range of learning opportunities
Partner with your work manager to connect your
classroom learning to the reality of the corporate work environment
While on the Disney College Program, the
opportunities for learning abound, and participants can create their own
package of learning offerings. A sample of an Individualized Learning Plan is
below.
