Disney Theme Parks and Resorts College Program: Disneyland Resort, Anaheim, California
  Students educators apply now

Our education program is designed to give participants a comprehensive, experiential-learning opportunity which will provide them an unparalleled enhancement to their academic and professional careers. Participants in the Disney College Program will be able to design a learning experience which will shape their program experience into an opportunity that specifically suits their needs and interests.

Participants' ability to guide their learning is what makes the Disney College Program more than just a work opportunity. While on the Disney College Program, participants choose from multiple educational opportunities to incorporate into their program to enhance their experience.

As part of their Iearning experience participants will take Disney Education Courses, some of which are recommended for credit by the American Council on Education (ACE). We currently offer two courses recommended for credit by ACE.

Each of the Disney College Program courses is focused around an area of Disneyland® Resort expertise and contains levels of academic rigor not uncommon to the classes you take at your own college or university. Participants will have required textbooks to read, papers to write and special projects to complete. The difference is that participants will be able to apply this knowledge immediately at their work location.

Each course offers participants the possibility to earn college credit during their program. The decision to award credit is made by the participant's college or university.

You will want to read through the course descriptions and syllabi. Share this information with your faculty or Career Services advisor as soon as possible and discuss the possibility of receiving credit through your college or university.

Participants may also choose to enroll in our Leadership Speaker's Series. This unique offering allows participants to hear Executives (VPs/Senior Directors) share their stories of challenges and triumphs as a leader. Participants will learn what each speaker believes makes a good leader, how experiences are translated into leadership skills and teachable moments from the speaker's experiences.

Our Professional Development Study is another educational opportunity that participants may incorporate into their learning experience. In this course, participants will have the opportunity to explore how specific organizational units are managed and how "world-class" Guest Service provides magical memories.

Our Blended Learning Series is a new, alternative educational option for students. This class is designed to 'blend' in-class learnings with out-of-class activities, creating a more hybrid learning experience.

Participants may also utilize resources in one of our Disney Learning Centers including using books, videos and computer-led learning activities to enhance their learning experience.

Dream it. Do it. Disney.
