Put Your Talent To Work

Show us your creativity by using your technical, artistic, or writing skills to design a ride, attraction, hotel or land within an existing Disney theme park or resort. Or create an entirely new experience; a theme park, resort, themed restaurant, or something completely brand new.

Imagi-Nations is a university design competition created and sponsored by Walt Disney Imagineering to promote diversity. The competition enables students to showcase their talents and gain practical knowledge in design, with the opportunity to earn scholarship money.

The creative design and development subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, Imagineering is made up of "dreamers and doers" representing more than 140 distinct disciplines including Art, Architecture, Computer Animation, Computer Science, Creative Writing, Engineering, Film, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Model Making, Sculpting and Theater/Set Design.

Walt Disney Imagineering maintains an environment that fosters new ideas, innovation and "out-of-the-box" thinking; Imagi-Nations is a university competition that encourages students such as yourself to do the same. Past winners of the Imagi-Nations Design Competition have gone on to serve internships at Imagineering and some have become full-time Imagineers. Now here's your opportunity to show us what you can do and perhaps follow in their footsteps.

You may enter the competition as an individual or as a team, but you must be from a participating engineering or architecture association or a university student majoring in one of the following: Fine Arts, Digital Arts, Theatrical Design/Production, or Creative Writing. Please be aware that all submissions and the ideas contained therein become the sole property of Imagineering.

Please bring your talent and join in our efforts to promote diversity throughout Walt Disney Imagineering.
