College Credits

The American Council on Education has approved the Disney Organizational Leadership Course for credit at accepting universities. All universities and colleges may differ in their terms for accepting credit. Our best recommendation to Disney CareerStart participants who decide to enroll in school and want to earn college credit for their experience is to contact the university or school they plan to attend.

Some schools may award credit for the entire experience, and others may offer credit only for the educational courses you complete. In addition, certain schools may require that students be officially enrolled in the school while earning the credit.

There are other options that may allow students to earn college credit while participating in the Disney CareerStart Program. Central Michigan University, the University of North Carolina - Greensboro and Purdue University offer prospective students the opportunity to register for credit at their respective institutions.

For information regarding the opportunities, please visit the following Web sites, which the schools have created for the Disney Education Courses. These courses can also be offered for credit as a part of the Disney CareerStart Program.

Please note the courses available through CMU, UNCG and Purdue will have tuition and other applicable fees.
