Disney CareerStart Program Educational Series

The CareerStart Educational Series was designed as a learning opportunity to:

  • Assist participants in developing skills for a seamless transition from high school to the workforce
  • Provide life skills necessary to succeed in their work location and create a foundation for their future career

For some of the participants, the Disneyland® Resort role they accept will be their first job. These classes will position them for success in their role. Topics for discussion include time management, the importance of professionalism, getting along with others, conflict resolution, etc. Special guests, including Disneyland® Resort leaders, will lead discussions, answer questions and serve as a support structure for participants.

This series is required of all Disney CareerStart participants. Because there are no books or course materials, there is no cost associated with this course.
