QA: The Site

index.html - this is our flash sniffer page that redirects to our index_flash page or index_noflash page. Javascript code is located on the page for detection. index_files/query_string.js - takes care of some querystring necessities for deep linking and flash version control, which is handled through DIG's system.
index_noflash.html - Just in case you don't have flash installed. This page has links to download flash, enter the site, and order the DVD now. Street-read and Box shot are prominently displayed.
index_flash.html - Hooray! You have reached the flash site and you may start reviewing all of the exciting content. This page has many files associated with it that we will go through now.
1. Initial File Loads: - Base.swf is actually embedded in the index_flash.html and has these files associated with the initial load in an incremental manner.
  1. mp3/euuu.mp3 - sound bytes used when you land on the features. You may turn the Audio on/off with the button.
  2. mp3/notcrazy.mp3
  3. mp3/ruiningmylife.mp3
  4. mp3/wokeupthismorning.mp3
  5. home.swf - this contains the splash page graphics
  6. nav.swf - all of the navs and freak out animation reside in here or are loaded into this .swf
2. The Sections: - These sections load from either the left or right nav. When you intially click on a section from the homepage, an animation occurs and you end up on one of the sides. There is a button that also allows you to navigate between the sides. The Freak Out button creates crazy animation.
3. Anna - Grunge Side Nav (right)
  1. Trailer - launches the Disney Videos branded player window (At time of writing this doc, only the trailer was available. Once the additional clips become available, this section will need to be changed from "Trailer" to "Preview & Clips". Click Media will create a landing page with thumbnails of the trailer and clips, which the user will click on to launch the player window with the corresponding clip.)
  2. DVD Features - list of dvd bonus features.
  3. Story - loads an XML file into the flash.
  4. Cast - this has images of the cast and loads an XML file into the player.
  5. Photo Gallery - The thumbnails launch an html gallery.
  6. Downloads
    1. Wallpapers - are launched, with the actual jpgs residing in the assets folder.
    2. Screensaver - is launched from here
    3. Buddy Icons - launch from here.
  7. Teen Translator - loads the fun teen translator; click on words to see definitions for teen slang. XML file is also loaded.
  8. Order Now - launches a Disney Store page for the Freaky Friday DVD and VHS. This should redirect to the Disney branded page.
4. Tess - Classy Side Nav (left)
  1. Trailer - launches the Disney Videos branded player window (At time of writing this doc, only the trailer was available. Once the additional clips become available, this section will need to be changed from "Trailer" to "Preview & Clips". Click Media will create a landing page with thumbnails of the trailer and clips, which the user will click on to launch the player window with the corresponding clip.)
  2. Story - loads an XML file into the flash.
  3. Crew - this has images and loads XML into the player to display the text.
  4. Production Notes - has scrollable text loaded from XML.
  5. Mild to Wild - play this fun trivia-styled game; text is loaded fromXML.
  6. Fortune Cookie - on click, this launches an html page that downloads the .exe file.
  7. Party Planner - loads in the four zoomable graphics, which link to pop-ups of the .pdf files.
send_cookie.html - This page activates when the user presses "send to a friend" in the cookie download executable. This button will launch this page in the browser. This page will pop up the "send to the friend" dialog page and then refresh itself as the main Freaky Friday site. (Note - email text for the "Send to a Friend" email is provided later in this document.)
