You may enter the competition only as part of a team of no more than four participants. All projects, regardless of how many participants worked on them, will be judged against each other. To qualify, each team participant must be a current member of a 501 (c)(3) Creative Arts Organization, or a current member of an Association focusing on one or more of the disciplines listed below, or a University student majoring in one of the disciplines listed below:
- Fine Arts
- Digital Arts / Animation
- Theatrical Design/Production
- Creative Writing
- Media Production / Interactive
- Interior Design
- Construction Management / Project Management
- Architecture
- Engineering
If any participant, or their immediate family members works, or has worked, for The Walt Disney Company, they do not qualify for this competition. For questions on eligibility, please contact us. All decisions on eligibility by Imagineering are final. Please be aware that all submissions, and the ideas contained therein become the sole property of Walt Disney Imagineering.
About the Competition
Original ideas may be presented in the manner you deem most effective. Some suggestions are:
- Artwork / Illustrations / Visuals
- Building Design (floor plans or elevations)
- Storyboards
- Developed Story Treatment- Model
- Computer Graphics
- Video
Your concept should demonstrate fun, originality and innovation. Keep in mind that Disney is the leader in family entertainment, and that Imagineering tells stories through immersive experiences. Therefore, your idea and/or submission should tell a story. You may create your own characters or use our existing characters for your entry.
All entries must be received by Walt Disney Imagineering between January 31 thru March 15, 2007. Qualified participants will then be able to submit their projects from February 5 - March 31, 2007.

When submitting your entry, please include:
- Completed Official Entry Form
- One page overview of your idea
- Resume for each team member
Please note the following parameters:
- Visual art must be presented on no more than three 30" x 40" boards.
- Story treatments must be no longer than fifteen pages. (Double-spaced)
- Models must be no larger than 18" x 24". (Photo only for Preliminary Competition)
- List of contents of your submissions (i.e. 3 photos, 2 boards, report, etc.)
- Due to the volume of submissions we receive, please structure your entire presentation to be reviewable in no more than ten minutes. This includes all video, interactive graphics, review of all supplemental materials, etc. Each judge should be able to get through your entire presentation, including all reading, in this amount of time.
