You will be asked to submit:
An ImagiNations Design Competition Entry Form
A resume for each team member
Upon notification of qualification, you will also need to submit the following:
A one-page overview of your idea
A list of contents accompanying the submission
(e.g. 3 photos, 2 boards, 1 model, 2 videos, report)
The submission/project itself
Team Member Individual Portfolios (if applicable)
Your entire presentation should be reviewable in 10 minutes or less. The judges should be able to go through your boards, books, videos, interactive graphics, supplemental materials, etc. in this amount of time. Videos should last no longer than three minutes. All project items must include the Project Name for identification and be clear of team member and university names.
Submitted ideas must be original and solely the work of the team members. Only one entry per team will be accepted.
In consideration for the opportunity to win an all expense paid trip to Walt Disney Imagineering and to be considered for an internship opportunity, all participants will be required to agree that any and all submissions will become the sole property of Walt Disney Imagineering and will not be returned. All rights to use these ideas will be retained by Walt Disney Imagineering without expectation by you of other consideration. Any offer of an internship or other employment opportunity is expressly contingent on your eligibility for employment in the United States.
Finalists will be notified by April 16, 2010 and will be invited at a later date to present their project at
Walt Disney Imagineering.

How Does the Judging Process Work?
All projects that move into the semifinal phase are professionally displayed in a gallery where a panel of Imagineering judges will review and select the finalist teams. The finalist teams will travel to Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, California in June of 2010, to present their ideas to a panel of Walt Disney Imagineering judges. All the members of finalist teams must attend the presentation. Judging will be based on, but not limited to, the following:
Creativity/Originality
Illustration/Artwork/Visuals
Use of Technology
Guest Experience
Entertainment Value
Quality of Presentation
Diversity/Inclusive nature of proposed entry
Global Perspective
Walt Disney Imagineering reserves the right to disqualify an entry and not to offer an internship opportunity.
Completed entry forms must be postmarked from January 1, 2010 through January 29, 2010.
Qualified participants will be notified to begin the submission process which will be open through February 26, 2010.
Finalist Notification
Finalists will be notified by April 16, 2010 and will be invited at a later date to present their project at Walt Disney Imagineering.
Final Competition The Finalist teams will be brought to Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, California in early June 2010 where they will present their ideas to a panel of Walt Disney Imagineering executive judges.
All qualified applicants will be considered for Internship opportunities at Walt Disney Imagineering or other Walt Disney Company business units.
