Will participants lose their financial aid if
they participate in the program?
It is up to each student's school to
determine how financial aid is handled if a student chooses to participate in
the program. Students should consult with their faculty advisor and Career
Services at their school, as well as Financial Aid and the Admissions
departments to gain information about the available options.
External learning and earning programs can be
referred to as an internship, externship or co-op program, according to the
practices of the individual schools. For more information, students can access
the U.S. Department of Education Web site at
http://studentaid.ed.gov.
What is the difference between recognition and
credits?
Recognition means participants are not receiving credit from
their school or institution; however, the school will allow them to attend
without taking them off its enrollment list. Credit means the school has agreed
to award school credit for the participant's internship.
How can I formalize a credit acceptance plan for
my school?
Colleges and universities nation-wide nationwide have a
credit acceptance plan for the ACE-recommended courses, and we hope
you will accept the ACE credit recommendations as well.

Report to learn about credit opportunities offered today at colleges and

Our
Credit Contact Information
Survey outlines how your school may award credit to your students for their
participation in the Disney College Program.
The university isn't able to award credit. Will
participants still have to take the educational component of the program?
Participants are required to take the educational component of the
program. We encourage participants to review the
Individualized Learning Plan
with a faculty member to ensure the best course selection.
Do participants have to pay for the Disney
Educational Component of the program?
There are no tuition fees for the
Disney College Program Education Course. However, participants will be
responsible for purchasing textbooks and course materials for the ACE
Accredited Courses. Please see the course syllabus for the required
titles.
If your school is awarding credit for these courses,
your school may charge you for the credits. For more information, please review
the "Education" information.
How do participants register for the Disney
College Program Education Course?
Participants will register for
courses when they arrive as part of the sign-in process.
