As a result of Walt's Good Will Tour to South America, Goofy appeared in
Disney's first animated feature south of the border: "Saludos Amigos."
The film featured the tremendous
color and flavor of South America and, even though it was produced as a favor to the U.S government, it proved
to be a tremendously popular hit.
