imon, a meerkat, and his sidekick, Pumbaa, a warthog, provide "The Lion King" with its outrageous comic relief. Living a life of "Hakuna Matata," they have no worries, no responsibilities, and no cares. They even pass on this lifestyle to their adopted cub friend, Simba. Only when Simba is called into action to save the Pride Lands do Timon and Pumbaa discover that they are really warriors at heart (even if they are somewhat cowardly).
