As a result of Walt's Good Will Tour to South America, two animated
features were produced: "Saludos Amigos" and "The Three
Caballeros." Both features combined live-action with
animation.
Both featured the tremendous color and flavor of South America
and, even though they were produced as a favor to the U.S
government, they proved to be tremendously popular hits.
