alt's visionary works become the basis for a walk-through attraction at the Disney-MGM Studios entitled "Walt Disney: One Man's Dream." It will provide both children and adults a one-of-a-kind opportunity to rediscover some of the many amazing visions of Walt Disney that became entertainment realities.
"'One Man's Dream' will enable guests to journey into Walt's imagination. His imagination still speaks loudly to the child in us all," enthused Senior Show Producer-Director Roger Holzberg of Walt Disney Imagineering.
As you walk through the new attraction, an overhead ribbon spiraling from a sorcerer's hat will help guide you through a different journey each time you explore the areas dedicated to the various decades of Walt's life.
Each room will be filled with special authentic displays including Walt's elementary school desk with his initials carved into it, Walt's working office exactly as it was at the time of his death, and the famous "dancing man" model that was the prototype for Audio-Animatronics® figures.
The exhibit will culminate in what Holzberg describes as "a short, inspiring and emotional film about Walt's life" that has been newly produced to provide guests with a greater insight into his creative energy and vision.
"Walt Disney: One Man's Dream" reminds guests that Walt's dreams still inspire today because as Walt himself said, "Somehow I can't believe there are many heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true."
As you exit, the creators of this magnificent new attraction hope to enable you to dream bigger - to dream like Walt.
