March 23, 2007 [sv1.0.26.5.test]
  • Made changes to the text panel at the end of a Trolley Tracks round for better legibility.
  • Fixed bug in the Jungle Vines game where your Toon sometimes did not pick up the banana even though it looks like you should have.
  • You will now receive partial credit for getting thru the Jungle Vines game,and it will now reward more Jellybeans in the harder Playgrounds.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Windows98/ME users to not be able to play.
  • Further refinement to a bug fix which caused download/patching issues.

  • Fixed bug that caused some train tracks in the Trolley Tracks game to not appear correctly.
  • If all other Toons left in the middle of the Trolley Tracks game, upon reaching your Trolley destination you will be informed via a text panel that you will be taken to the Gag purchasing panel.
  • Fixed bug that caused some players to have game download/patching issues.
  • Fixed bug which made your Toon hard to move forward in the Treasure Dive game.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Gag barrels to give the wrong Gag compared to what is labeled on the barrel.
  • The official names of the new Trolley Games are: Trolley Tracks (during theTrolley Holiday), Jungle Vines, Treasure Dive, Toon Memory Game, and Toon Slingshot. All in game text have been changed to reflect this.
  • Fixed graphics issue with the umbrellas in the Toon Slingshot game. They should now have an alternating white/colored pattern to them.
  • Fixed a crash in the Jungle Vines game which occurs if you jump off the first vine without moving up or down.
  • If all other Toons disconnect mid-game during Trolley Tracks, the last remaining Toon will be sent to the Gag purchasing panel to either continue playing Trolley Games alone, purchase Gags, or exit back to the Playground.
  • One (1) Jellybean will be awarded to each player at the end of Trolley Tracks if no one reached their secret goal.
  • Fixed a bug that may cause Pies to be invisible during Sellbot V.P. battle.
  • Made several stability improvements to Toon Slingshot game.
  • Fixed bug that sometimes caused long lists to scroll up or down on their own after you click on the arrow buttons only once.

  • Made changes so that Player Friends panel will correctly indicate the location of a Player Friend who's going on/offline.
  • Made changes so that the appropriate dialog box opens when you respond to a SOS from a Player Friend who has logged off after asking for help.

  • The Friends button on the Toontown Friends Panel will be grey'ed out for Player/DXD only Friends. To become Toontown Friends with someone you are already Player/DXD Friends with, you must be nearby each other and click on the onscreen name.
  • The bug where Player/DXD Friends were not listed in the Toon SOS Friends list has been fixed.
  • Fixed a problem which caused SpeedChat emotes to not properly display in DXD chat window.
  • Fixed a crash which occurred when you click on a Whisper chat bubble from someone who'd just logged off.
  • Fixed some text formatting issues in the Toon/Player Detail Panel.

  • Toontown True Friend Codes have been updated to include the "TT" prefix (e.g. TT a3b c4d). All unredeemed True Friend Codes will no longer work, new codes must be generated to make Toontown True Friends. Account level DXD True Friend Codes are not affected by this update.
  • The "GoTo" button on the Friends Panel now works correctly between Toons who are only DXD account level True Friends but not Toontown Friends.
*** KNOWN ISSUES***
  • The "Friends" button still does not work between Toons who are only DXD account level True Friends. We are working on the fix and will release it as soon as we can, thank you for your patience!

Attention Test Toons! We have revised the release notes for sv1.0.25.7.test to include more information regarding the new Disney XD experience. Please read it carefully as it will help you take advantage of the new features available and better manage your new DXD account.

New bug fixes:
  • You will now be able to click on a Whisper bubble to bring up a chat box and reply to the Whisper's sender.
  • In the Player Friend detail panel, the correct location of "Offline" will now be displayed for Player Friends who are not logged into any Disney products.
*** KNOWN ISSUES***
  • Currently, if two Toons are only Player Friends (True Friend token exchanged in DXD) and not Toon Friends, the GoTo and Friends buttons on the Friends Panel will not work correctly. We are working on a fix and it will be part of the next release.

Attention Test Toons over age 13! We need you to go above and beyond, and help us test using your TEST Toontown account and chat in the new Disney XD on Disney.com!

Here's what we need you to do:
  • Log into play.test.toontown.com and verify your account name and password. It is possible that you may be prompted to choose a new account name. If so, please go ahead and complete that process. Do not start playing Toontown yet!
  • Go to Disney XD on Disney.com and log in using your Toontown TEST account name and password and create a D-Name.
  • Set your chat permissions in DXD to allow True Friends (was Secret Friends)through the .Open Chat . With Unlimited True Friends. option under the Communication Preferences Tab in your DXD Account Manager.
  • Create and exchange DXD True Friend Codes (was Secret Friends) with people you know who have also created a D-Name. You'll then be able to Chat with your True Friends no matter where either of you are in the Disney.com network, including from within Toontown.
  • Log into Toontown and chat with your new D-Name friends.

Once you have some True Friends, we want you to check out the new Friends List features.
  • Friends listed in green are SpeedChat friends, and those listed in blue areTrue Friends (was Secret Friends) who you can chat openly with. This color scheme better matches the colors of the OpenChat and SpeedChat buttons.
  • Player Friends will be highlighted in BOLD when they are logged into Toontown.
The Friends List also has new tabs:
  • Online Toon Friends - This list only your Toontown friends who are currently online, by Toon name.
  • All Toon Friends - This lists all of your Toontown friends, by Toon name.
  • Online Player Friends . This list only your Disney.com account friends who are currently online, by D-Name.
  • All Player Friends . This lists all of your Disney.com account friends, by D-Name.
  • Each Friends List tab now sorts alphabetically within each color group.

  • For those who login to Toontown via the website "PLAY" button, please make sure to close your Launcher application after you've exited your game before logging into the other Toontown (ie. leaving TEST to go play LIVE).

  • Fixed a bug which would cause an exit crash if you tried to return your Doodle at the Doodle Shop, cancel, then exit the game.
  • A new Launcher is available for installation. Please login through the Toontown TEST main website for automatic download and install. This new Launcher will fix a problem with the creation of the Logs folder which Toontown requires to run properly.

  • Fixed a problem having to do with going to your Estate and teleporting back to the playground which could lead to game instability and increased latency.
  • A new browser plug-in is available for installation. Please login through the Toontown TEST main website for automatic download and install. This new plug-in will now properly minimize the web browser when you re-enter Toontown using the "Play" button on the Toontown webpage after exiting.

  • Fixed a problem with the Launcher where the game installation music would continue after it had finished installing.
  • Fixed a bug that caused you to not be able to re-enter Toontown via the "Play" button on the "Thanks for Playing" exit page after you've exited Toontown.

  • Fixed a bug that allowed Cogs to still engage you in a battle after you've clicked on the "Exit Toontown" button in your Shticker Book.
  • After you exit Toontown your web browser will now be brought to the foreground and display the appropriate exit page.

  • Fixed a bug that caused crashes.
  • There is a new plug-in and Launcher that will require logging in through Toontown TEST's main page in order to download. They contain bug fixes and improvements pertaining to game client patching, logging, and error handling.

  • This release contains some behind-the-scenes fixes.
  • A new Launcher will download prior to Toontown starting. The "Report a Bug" button should now take you to the correct bug reporting page. It will also now recognize a few standard error/exit codes, and if necessary, take you automatically to appropriate pages once your Toontown game client has exited.

  • The Launcher application should now have the "Flippy" icon once again, while Toontown itself received a new icon on the Dock.
  • Fixed an issue PowerPC Mac users were having with downloading and patching Toontown.
  • Made some changes to the way the plug-in download behaves. Please note you will have to restart your browser and navigate back to the Toontown Test homepage after the new plug-in is installed in order to launch the game properly.

  • The Launcher application received a new Dock icon.
  • The "Report a Bug" button replaces the "Top Toons" button in the Launcher.

  • You may need to reload your browser when the plug-in finishes downloading in order to successfully download the new Launcher. Also make sure your old Launcher is not running during the update.
  • The new "Report a Bug" button in the Launcher currently generates a page meant for PC users. This will be fixed in the next release.

  • Fixed a bug that caused problems with purchasing gags if you had any Level 7 gags in your inventory.

Mac Only: You may experience problems downloading the update or viewing the new release notes in the Launcher due to a caching problem. Refreshing your browser should clear these issues. We are working to fix this problem.

  • Fixed a crash that occurs if your Toon had defeated any Goons while in the CashbotHQ Mints, SellbotHQ Factory, or during the C.F.O. battle.
  • Fixed missing sound FX for the train during the C.F.O. battle victory sequence.
  • Fixed a problem with Clarabelle's button appearing over an open Cog panel.
  • Fixed issues with resizing fullscreen windows.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when two Toons fight two Cogs, one uses a TNT trap and the other uses nothing during the first round, and then one uses the Train trap while the other uses the Presentation lure during the second round.
  • Fixed a problem that causes Cogs already in a battle to "shuffle" around as if the battle just started if a Toon joins in while the Cogs are attacking the first Toon.
  • Mac Only: The Report a Problem page should now automatically come up with your current log file attached should you crash out of Toontown.
*** KNOWN ISSUE ***

Currently, if you look at your Doodle thru the Doodle panel, finish the C.F.O. battle, or finish the Chief Justice battle, and then exit Toontown you may crash instead of returning to the Pick-A-Toon screen. We are working to fix this issue.

Attention Test Toons! Let's give a big enToonsiastic welcome to Mac users as we invite them to join our cause against the Cogs!

While there are no new features, this release of Toontown TEST is fundamentally different and will require you Test Toons to be on the lookout for loose nuts and bolts (and the occasional Cog wrench) around Toontown.� Please let us know if you experience any crashes or see anything that's just plain weird by filling out a bug report.
  • Made the hardest parts of the Tug of War Trolley game easier.
  • Fixed an incorrect camera angle for the Opera sound gag.
  • Fixed problem with long text stepping over their word bubbles in the Cattlelog.
  • Fixed a rare bug that caused the reward movie sequence for level 7 gags to not play correctly.
  • Fixed a rare crash that occurs for the Catching Game.
  • The Reward movie will no longer play if all Quests have been completed.
  • Tweaked and improved the timing of sound FX and camera movements for the High Dive gag and all Sound gags.

  • Corrected an issue with overflowing experience on Gag Tracks where your Toon has the highest level Gags.

  • Fixed a crash that happens when your Toon uses a Trap Gag.

It's normal to not be able to purchase the highest level of Gags from the Gag Shop. However, Toons are still able to delete them there. This will be fixed in a future release.

  • Fixed a typo with Tree names.
  • Fixed a crash caused by entering an area where a rake trap has been placed.
  • Fixed a crash caused by SOS Toons that use a Sound Gag.
  • Fixed a bug with the High Dive Gag that caused it to only Toon Up the Toon who used it, and also increased the amount of Toon Up it gives.
  • Corrected issues with Toons and their Gag inventory levels after receiving new Gags.
  • Fixed an issue where the Traintrack is still appearing while your Toon uses a Lure Gag and another Cog joins the battle.
  • Known Issues: We're aware of a crash caused by purchasing Gags after playing a Trolley Game. Please avoid purchasing Gags after a Trolley Game to avoid this crash. Also, Traps Gags will also cause a crash, so please avoid using them until our next release. These issues will will be fixed shortly!
