Geonosis is a rock planet best known as the home of the massive droid factory that supplied the Separatist movement with foot soldiers before and during the Clone Wars. It was also the secret lair of Count Dooku, a former Jedi turned Sith Lord and the leader of the Separatist movement that led directly to the Clone Wars. The planet is now considered an intergalactic historic landmark, even though it played a decidedly dark role in history.
