Say "aloha" to Walt Disney Pictures' newest animated adventure, "Lilo & Stitch" (in theaters June 21), by helping your kids create their very own paper and pasta leis!
Step 1: Have your child color 16 pieces of uncooked ziti using tempera paints and let them dry.
Step 2: Cut out bunches of three-petaled flowers from sheets of colored crepe paper. Loosely tie a knot in one end of a 3-foot piece of string and thread the other end through the eye of a large sewing needle.
Step 3: Sew through the centers of a dozen or so flowers. String on a piece of painted ziti. Continue sewing on flowers and pasta, stopping 3 inches from the end of the string.
Step 4: Undo the knot and tie together the string ends with an overhand knot. Ta-da! Your child has a beautiful colorful lei to wear or give away as a present!

Did you know...
that Bambi was meant to be released as the studio's second feature film, after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but the realistic animation and backgrounds prolonged the production, delaying its completion? It finally came out as the sixth feature film, after Pinocchio, Fantasia, The Reluctant Dragon, and Dumbo.
