To enjoy everything Disney Connection offers, you must have the Flash 8 and Shockwave plug-ins installed in your browser. Both plug-ins are widely accepted and easy to install.
How can I ensure smooth video playback?
Video typically uses much of your computer processor's capabilities, so it's best to close other applications that could reduce playback quality. This is especially important when using older computers or the FunFinder's expanded video player.
Default video quality settings are set to Medium, which is recommended because it represents a balance between image quality and smooth playback. Higher settings produce higher-quality images but may introduce playback interruptions depending on your connection speed and Internet traffic.
If this occurs, simply switch to the Low setting, or return to watch video during off-peak hours.
Will pop-up blocker software create problems accessing the site?
Yes. Disney Connection uses pop-ups to make your browser fill the screen. In order to avoid conflicts with a pop-up blocker, you must create an exception or turn off your pop-up blocker. Most pop-up blockers allow users to make temporary exceptions for trusted sites. However, as each is disabled differently, please refer to your software for instructions.
It's possible to have multiple pop-up blockers without knowing it. Please check your Web browser, any additional/downloaded toolbars, and your system's personal firewall (security software) to see if they've been enabled to stop pop-ups and ads.
