Miley Cyrus grew up surrounded by music, thanks to her country-superstar dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. And as she’s proved with a string of hit albums, she’s taken those lessons to heart – but her sound is definitely her own!

Miley first came to fame at age 14 as the star of Disney Channel’s hit series “Hannah Montana,” playing an everyday girl who moonlights as a pop star. The show’s soundtrack album showcases Miley’s musical talents, and with “Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus,” she got a chance to shine as Miley, as well as Hannah – and her Best of Both Worlds tour and album provided more proof that Miley rocks as Hannah AND herself. 2009’s “Hannah Montana: The Movie” was a hit in theaters, and the movie soundtrack was another musical success.

Miley’s opening another chapter in her career with her starring role in the film “The Last Song” – which features several original songs by the multitalented star.

Miley is currently starring in season 4 of her television show, "Hannah Montana Forever," on Disney Channel.
