In the glory days of hair metal, Rikki Krikkit was the drummer for Stykki Wyckyt, the most popular band on the Sunset Strip. But those days are long behind him; now Rikki is a down-and-out rocker, forever in search of a comeback opportunity, a place to stay, and something to eat. In the years since his star dimmed, he's made a number of embarrassing missteps (including a disco album under the name "Ferdinando") until he finally hit rock bottom. Now that showbiz seems to have passed him by, he keeps his hand in when he can, making public appearances at state fairs and tractor pulls… but at this rate it won't be long until he has to go crawling back to his telemarketing job.
Rikki wants to get the band back together and get himself back into the limelight. But Stykki Wyckyt's final album, the over-ambitious rock opera Rock-Socky vs. The Lemonade Brigade, made Rikki a has-been in the music industry.
