The “Dream Team” Bringing Little Einsteins To Life

Eric Weiner, Executive Producer
Acclaimed two-time Emmy nominee Eric Weiner, co-creater and producer of several of preschool television’s biggest shows, including the smash hit series “Dora the Explorer” and “JoJo’s Circus,” is executive producer for Disney’s Little Einsteins. The talented Mr. Weiner is the mastermind behind the unique combination of visual, musical and interactive learning elements incorporated in the Little Einsteins storylines. Mr. Weiner has also worked as a writer for numerous children’s shows, including “Sesame Street,” “Gullah Gullah Island” and “PB&J Otter,” among others. In addition to his work in childrens television, he has written more than 50 childrens books.

Jeff Borkin, Head Writer
Jeff Borkin has collaborated with a number of successful children’s television franchises including “Blues Clues,” “Clifford” and several popular shows on Noggin, including “Miffy and Friends” and “Connie the Cow.” As head writer of Disney’s Little Einsteins, this Emmy-nominated writer and story editor brings the lovable band of characters to life and works closely with the team’s musical and creative directors to develop dialogue and adventures that are presented to preschoolers in a revolutionary way.

Olexa Hewryk, Creative Director
Olexa Hewryk has vast experience in television animation and creative direction, having worked on “Blues Clues,” “A Little Curious” and “Little Bill,” the critically acclaimed preschool show based on Bill Cosby’s childrens books, for which Mr. Hewryk won an Emmy. As creative director of Disney’s Little Einsteins, Mr. Hewryk pushes the envelope with new animation techniques including setting the Little Einsteins characters amid real-world backgrounds, a first in preschool animation.

Dr. Valeria Lovelace, Curriculum Advisor
Valeria Lovelace has directed research and curriculum development for acclaimed preschool television programs for more than 20 years, receiving five Emmy Awards and one Peabody Award. An integral advisor to “Sesame Street,” “Dora the Explorer” and “Blues Clues,” she specializes in conducting comprehension and attention studies as well as reviewing scripts for age appropriateness and educational content. As curriculum advisor for Disney’s Little Einsteins, Dr. Lovelace has built achievable educational goals into the Little Einsteins series, with a focus on music education.

Cordelia Bergamo, Music Advisor
With more than three decades experience teaching classical music to preschoolers, Cordelia Bergamo works closely with the Disney’s Little Einsteins team to select and approve classical music that allows children to experience the power of collaboration as they achieve their artistic goals.

Disney’s Little Einsteins is a production of Curious Pictures, the largest animation studio in New York and the home to award-winning creators of animated television series, television commercials and celebrated characters in picture books and television.
