Fairy-Tale Gowns for Real-Life Brides
Attentive footmen...pumpkin carriages...a dashing prince. Growing up with classic Disney animated films leaves many little girls dreaming of their wedding, where they get to be a princess for a day. And now, Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings Bridal Collection makes the dream come true with a line of enchanting gowns, inspired by your favorite Disney Princesses.
In an effort to discover how any bride can be made to feel like a princess, The Insider spoke with Rebekah Bezer, Senior Category Manager, Global Apparel, Accessories & Footwear for Disney Consumer Products, about the genesis of the gowns. YOUR QUESTION
I am looking for a clip that I saw as a child. It concerns a park ranger and some bears. The park ranger teaches the bears the song "Picking up the trash, put it in the bag, bomp, bomp." My family has used this song all of our lives when we start cleaning up, but we cannot find the title of the cartoon. Can you help? I want to share it with my son.
- Jenny, 36, Kingsport, TN

DAVE'S ANSWER
The cartoon is titled "In the Bag." It was made in 1956, and featured Ranger J. Audubon Woodlore and Humphrey the bear, being the last of several cartoons featuring the duo. It was also the last Disney cartoon distributed by RKO and the last in CinemaScope for almost 40 years. It was released on DVD in 2005 in the "Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Rarities" set.
