Looking back now, 70 years later, it's easy to forget what an astonishing achievement Walt Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" really is. DAVE'S ANSWER
The beautiful Cinderella mosaics were designed by Disney artist Dorothea Redmond and crafted by famed mosaicist Hanns-Joachim Scharff. No one has counted the pieces of Italian glass -- a press release says "hundreds of thousands." Some were fused with silver and 14-carat gold. The smallest pieces were the size of the head of a tack.
