A New Year's Created by Kids
This New Year, Disney Channel is going, not to the dogs, but to the kids. Young viewers have spoken, and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, they'll be watching their favorite episodes of Disney Channel shows, and videos they've created themselves. DAVE'S ANSWER
The Candlelight Procession began as a Christmas holiday tradition at Disneyland in 1958, with a concept developed by Dr. Charles C. Hirt of the University of Southern California School of Music. It has continued every year since that time, usually with a different guest narrator each year. A Florida version of the Candlelight Procession began at the Magic Kingdom in 1971, moving to its present location at Epcot in 1994.
