ASK DAVE
YOUR QUESTION
I seem to remember a series that was on The Wonderful World of Disney about an English (or Welsh?) minister who was a conservative by day, but by night was a Robin Hood-type character known as "The Scarecrow." Am I remembering correctly, or was this something else entirely? No one seems to have any idea what I am talking about!

DAVE'S ANSWER
This popular series was made in 1964 as "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh," and later made into a feature film called "Dr. Syn, Alias the Scarecrow" for theaters. Patrick McGoohan starred as the disguised vicar of Dymchurch who fought for justice in 18th-century England.
