A Castle Suite Fit for a Princess
For everyone who has ever dreamed of becoming fairy-tale royalty and dwelling in an enchanted castle -- even if only for a night -- the Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort is about to become a bit more magical. Those prince and princess dreams will come true -- for one lucky family every night throughout Year of a Million Dreams*. ASK DAVE
YOUR QUESTION
I was thinking about all the cool innovative stuff Disney has made for shows, movies, theme park rides and attractions. I was wondering if Disney holds any patents?
- Aaron, 31, Raleigh, NC
DAVE'S ANSWER
Yes, through the years Disney has obtained many patents, including such innovations as the multiplane camera, which first gave depth to animation; Audio-Animatronics, the robotic figures in our Parks; and various versions of ride vehicles.
The Magic Kingdom® Park has three ATMs: under the Main Street train station, near the Frontierland Shooting Arcade, and at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. arcade near Space Mountain®. You can exchange most foreign currency at City Hall.
