All that glitters is gold in this wacky Disney comedy with a sparkling cast of top-notch comedians! Charley, a research test duck, is accidentally showered with radiation during a lab experiment ... and nonchalantly produces eggs with solid gold yolks! Professor Albert Dooley (Dean Jones) and his wife, Katie, (Sandy Duncan) proceed to cash in on this newfound bonanza -- until their scrambled financial escapades arouse the suspicions of Treasury Department personnel. After all, whoever heard of trying to pay the weekly bills with a dozen or so eggs?!
