txt=MARK ELLIS (sports coordinator) has worked as a sports coordinator for feature films and television for the past ten years. Some of his notable feature film credits as coordinator and actor include "The Rookie," "Varsity Blues," "Any Given Sunday," "The Replacements," "Summer Catch," "Hard Ball," "The Waterboy," and "Jerry Maguire." Some of Ellis' additional feature credits as advisor/coordinator included "The Program," "The Dennis Byrd Story," "The Foreign Student" and "Geronimo: An American Legend." Ellis was a four-year scholarship athlete at Appalachian State University, North Carolina, playing both baseball and football. After graduating with honors from the University of South Carolina, he assisted in spearheading the establishment of the first-ever Division III football program at Greensboro College where he served as Quarterbacks and Running Backs Coach.
