txt=KENNETH MITCHELL (Ralph Cox) recently appeared in Touchstone Pictures' "The Recruit" with Al Pacino and Colin Farrell. He co-starred alongside Hollywood legend Gena Rowlands and Mimi Rogers as Tom Hawkings III in the Showtime original film "Charms for the Easy Life" and starred in the independent short film "Why Don't You Dance?" which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2002. On television Mitchell had a recurring role in the Showtime series "Leap Years" and was a regular guest star on Showtime's "Odyssey 5" with Peter Weller. A native of Toronto, Mitchell has a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Guelph, where he also played striker on the men's soccer team. His hockey career began at age 7, when he volunteered to be a netminder. He spent ten years as a goalie, ultimately playing for the Willowdale Blackhawks in the AA' metro Toronto Hockey League. He achieved several individual MVP and GA awards as well as numerous league and tournament championships. At nineteen he decided to explore the art of right wing and continues to play forward in various leagues in Toronto and Los Angeles where he now lives.
