(Inspector Gadget) became known to international audiences through his
outrageously funny portrayal of Harry in the hit TV comedy series 3RD
ROCK FROM THE SUN. French is no stranger to television, having
also made his impact with his fine style of comedy in CAROLINE IN

ELAINE HENDRIX
(G2) ... was most recently seen starring opposite Kelsey Grammer in the hit ABC movie "MR. ST. NICK" playing the seductive, cunning Heidi Gardelle. In addition, she just completed the film "WHAT THE &%^* DO WE KNOW" with Marlee Matlin, and a short film from director Amy Talkington co-starring "The Bachelor's" Alex Michele. Other recent television appearances include guest starring roles on shows such as "FRIENDS," "MR. As Dennis Quaid's scheming fianc�e, Elaine has truly solidified her position as a skilled comedic actress. Elaine first captivated film audiences as Vogue magazine fashion editor Lisa Luder in the Touchstone Pictures comedy "ROMY AND MICHELE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION" starring Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino. TONY MARTIN (Claw) is probably
best known for his role in the ABC series WILDSIDE and HEARTBEAK
HIGH as well as for his award-winning performance as Neddy Smith
in BLUE MURDER. He has appeared on stage for, amongst other companies, the Sydney Theatre Company (THE FLOATING WORLD), Belvoir Street (CAPRICORNIA), The Ensemble (DEATH OF A SALESMAN), and The Stables (FORESKIN�S LAMENT). MARK MITCHELL (Chief Quimby) has a
career spanning 21 years in film and television, comedy, and public speaking. Mark�s film credits include: LIKE MOTHER LIKE SON, THE STRANGE STORY OF SANTE AND KENNY KIMES, BLONDE, ON THE BEACH, THE MUNSTER�S SCARY LITTLE CHRISTMAS, GROUND ZERO, and WILLS AND BURKE. For anyone who knows the groundbreaking television series COMEDY COMPANY, Mark will be instantly recognizable as one of the members of this hilarious comedic team. The recording spin-off from this series reached platinum status three years in a row. Prior to this series Mark had made guest appearances on other television shows such as CARSON�S LAW, ANZACS, SWORD OF HONOUR, and was an ongoing character in the series PRISONER. BRUCE SPENCE (Baxter) began
acting in 1969 and spent several years as a member of the groundbreaking
Australian Performing Group, which pioneered the development of a uniquely
Australian theatre. There, he directed and performed in numerous productions,
mostly new Australian plays, and he appeared with most major theatre
companies around Australia in plays ranging from Shakespeare, Jonson, and
Moliere to Brecht and Dario Fo. In 1979, he was a guest artist at the National Art Centre in Canada, where he played the lead role in John Romeril�s award-winning Australian play THE FLOATING WORLD. He returned to Australia and with John Romeril, developed and toured extensively in CARBONI, a one-man play in which he played an Italian gold miner who wrote the only eye witness account of Australia�s first significant civil uprising, the Eureka Stockade. He appeared as Sganarelle in Moliere�s DON JUAN at the 1984 Adelaide Arts Festival and was voted the Most Popular Actor in the festival. Since then he has performed in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT�S DREAM in 1984 for the Melbourne Theatre Company, in the role of Puck, and as a result of this performance was nominated for best supporting actor. In 1985, he performed Monk O�Neill in A STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION, written and directed by Jack Hibberd, performed in both Sydney and Canberra. Bruce has acted in almost all major Australian television series, both in continuous roles and as a guest performer. He has also directed video clips. He performed various roles in Sydney Theatre Company�s MIXED DOUBLES and appeared in Melbourne Theatre Company�s SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS. He has appeared in close to 30 films since his debut in 1971 in the title role of STORK, a comedy that has been credited with reviving the moribund Australian film industry at the time. He has appeared in THE CARS THAT ATE PARIS (Peter Weir), ELIZA FRASER (Tim Burstall), NEWSFRONT (Phil Noyce), DIMBOOLA (John Duigan), GREEN ANTS (Werner Herzog), MAD MAX II: ROAD WARRIOR (George Miller), BIRDSVILLE, ONCE UPON A WEEKEND (Yarra Bank Films), THE YEAR MY VOICE BROKE (John Duigan), and RIKKI AND PETE (Nadia Tass). For his performance in MAD MAX III, Bruce was nominated for Best Supporting Actor by the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror Films. In 1986-87, for television, Bruce appeared in DIRTWATER DYNASTY and REFLECTIONS for Kennedy-Miller and GREAT EXPECTATIONS: THE UNTOLD STORY and DEAREST ENEMY for ABC. He also played Clyde Fenton for MICHAEL WILLESSEE�S AUSTRALIANS. In 1988 Bruce appeared in TANAMER for the Grundy Organization and again worked on DEAREST ENEMY for ABC. He also made a guest appearance on RAFFERTY�S RULES and played the role of Spencer in Paramount Picture�s production of DOLPHIN BAY. Bruce�s feature film credits include Foster in CONFIDENCE, Robert Fleming in the German production SUGAR; Ronald, costarring with Rosanna Arquette in WENDY CRACKED A WALNUT, and starring with Cheech Martin in SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE, a film shot in New Zealand directed by Michael Gottleib. In 1990, Bruce starred in the stage production of BIG RIVER in Adelaide and in SUNDAY LUNCH by Bill Garner at the Melbourne Theatre Company. He then went onto the role of Lenny in ABC�s DEAREST ENEMY, a television series, in 1991. In 1992, Bruce appeared in the television series HALFWAY ACROSS THE GALAXY AND TURN LEFT for Crawford�s Australia. After that, he played the role of Sprockett in the feature film DOUBLE TAKE MEETS HERCULES for Philm Productions. The year ended with Bruce playing Frump in the musical HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. Bruce traveled to Texas, and in May and June of 1995 starred in the film ACE VENTURA PART II: WHEN NATURE CALLS for Deuce Productions. Prior to that, he guest starred in ABC�s comedy sitcom AFTER THE BEEP. He guest starred in TWISTED TALES, directed by David Caesar. He played the roles of Mr. Gateman and Mr. Graves in the US tele-movie THE MUNSTER�S SCARY LITTLE CHRISTMAS. Bruce played the major role of Mr. Wall in the feature film DARK CITY, directed by Alex Proyas and shot in Sydney. Bruce was Darcy Kelso in the BULLPITT! television series 1 and 2 for Gary Reilly�s RS Productions. Bruce played Elijah in the tele-movie MOBY DICK and appeared in TALES OF THE SOUTH SEAS in the role of Nari Herring, both for Village Roadshow Productions. He guest starred in ROAR and following that, played a leading guest role in HALIFAX f.p. for Simpson Le Mesurier Films. Bruce then returned to the Melbourne Theatre Company to appear in TWELFTH NIGHT. Following this, he toured Australia and New Zealand in LES MISERABLES playing the role of Thenardier. Early in 2000, Bruce appeared in a guest role on the ABC series SOMETHING IN THE AIR. He then traveled to New Zealand to play the role of Black Lieutenant in the Peter Jackson-directed feature film THE LORD OF THE RINGS. Bruce also appeared in the Sydney Theatre Company�s production of THE WHITE DEVIL, and portrayed the character of Khayman in the feature film QUEEN OF THE DAMNED. Following that, Bruce guest starred in the series BEASTMASTER then HIGH 8. |
ALEX ZAMM (Director and Cowriter) Raised in Woodstock, New York, Zamm started his career as a gag cartoonist for SPY magazine and as an interviewer for National Public Radio�s ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. He earned a BA in Film and Classical Mythology from The State University of New York at Binghamton, studied cartooning and illustration at the School of Visual Arts, and received an MFA in screenwriting and directing from Columbia University. While attending Columbia, Zamm�s short films THE BIRTHDAY FISH, MAESTRO, and MY FIRST HAIRCUT won a number of awards, including being selected for screening at the Sundance Film Festival and a nomination for Best Short at the Cannes Film Festival. His first screenplay, THE PAWNSHOP KID, won first place in Laurel Entertainment�s Screenwriting Awards and then went on to become a Nichols Fellowship finalist. Since graduating, Zamm has directed comedy shorts for MTV (INCONVENIENCE), music videos for the Ramones and Toad the Wet Sprocket, and has directed episodic television for such shows as THE UPRIGHT CITIZEN�S BRIGADE, GREAT SCOTT, and MONSTERS. He�s written numerous feature screenplays for the studios, as well as teleplays for episodic television (BONE CHILLERS) and animation (LIFE WITH LOUIE). Zamm�s first feature film, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD, which he cowrote, starred Carrot Top, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Jack Warden, Larry Miller, and Raquel Welsh. He then went on to cowrite and direct MY DATE WITH THE PRESIDENT�S DAUGHTER for ABC�s The Wonderful World Of Disney. It starred Dabney Coleman and Jay Thomas. The MOW earned him and his writing partner William Robertson, a Writer�s Guild nomination. Zamm followed this up by directing another MOW for ABC/Disney titled THE POOCH AND THE PAUPER, as well as cowriting a remake of the classic BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS, also for him to direct. He has cowritten and directed the next adventure to Disney�s hit, INSPECTOR GADGET. |
