notes=MARGUERITE DERRICKS (choreographer) is among the top choreographers working in the entertainment industry. Her remarkable choreography has enhanced literally hundreds of film and television programs, commercials, music videos, and stage productions. For three consecutive years (1997-1999) Derricks won the prestigious Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography. The first was for the long-running television series, "3rd Rock From The Sun," the second, for "Fame L.A.," and the third for the 1998 Goodwill Games opening and closing ceremonies. Derricks was also nominated for a 2000 Emmy Award for her choreography for "Ice Wars." Derricks' choreography has also appeared on such television programs as "The MTV Movie Awards" (at which her work on the "Austin Powers" films has received the Best Dance Sequence award), "Will %26 Grace," "That '70s Show," and "Nikki."
