LILO & STITCH'S ISLAND OF ADVENTURES Game Instruction Booklet Getting Started Choosing A Vehicle Choose a set of wheels to get around the island: Lilo's trike, skateboard, bicycle, Nani's car, Jumba's dune buggy, Cobra's sedan. Advance to the starting line. Inserting The DVD Insert the DVD into your DVD player. First-time players should choose "LEARN TO PLAY" for a personal lesson from Lilo and Stitch. Determining Who Goes First After choosing "START GAME," decide whether you want to play the "REGULAR GAME" or the "QUICK GAME." After making your selection, the play order wheel will appear so you can determine who goes first. Select "SPIN" and press "Enter" on your remote control. Each player should spin the wheel once. Whoever spins the highest number will go first. The order of play will then shift clockwise. In the event of a tie between players, spin again until you determine who goes first. Once you have determined the play order, select "DONE." Playing The Game Spinning And Moving Once you've completed the steps in "Getting Started," you're ready to begin. Use the remote control to highlight the spinner (RECORD PLAYER) and press "Enter" to spin it. Move your vehicle the indicated number of spaces along the game board. You will play a game, perform an activity or follow the directions given. If a game or activity results in you landing on a second activity square, continue play even though you may have just had a turn. Your turn is over when you complete the activity and the result does not move you onto another activity square on the game board. Game Board Squares Most game board squares feature one of several icons. Frog squares represent mini-games you'll play on-screen. Tourist Squares Tourist Squares represent fun physical activities. Tiki squares represent mystery cards. Nani squares indicate Nani is nearby and you'll play a hiding game. +1 and +2 spaces call for you to advance that many spaces on the game board. Blank spaces are rest stops. No action is needed. If you land on a square with an icon, use the arrow keys on the remote control to highlight the same icon on-screen and then press "Enter." Follow the directions given. If you make a mistake and accidentally select the wrong icon, select QUIT (X) to go back. Collecting Experiments If you win a game, perform an activity or are directed to do so by a character or a mystery card, collect the appropriate number of experiment pogs. Moving Into A New Environment The path on the board is divided into 5 tropical environments, represented by different colored squares. The first player to cross into a new colored region should collect one experiment and then use the remote control to select the RIGHT ARROW icon. This will take you to a new tropical environment on-screen. If you make a mistake, select the LEFT ARROW icon to return to the previous environment. Crossing The Finish Line When the first player crosses the finish line, the game is over. That player should collect three experiments for being first to finish. Add up the total number of experiments you've collected. The one who has the highest number wins! In the event of a tie, the player who has advanced furthest on the game board wins. Quick Play Option Don't have a lot of time? Insert the DVD and after, David's introduction, choose "START GAME." Then choose "QUICK GAME." You'll be asked to advance to the signpost on the game board marked "Lookout Point" where you'll start the game. The same rules apply.
