Ways To Extend Your Child's Learning After Watching Sing A Song With Tigger!

Repeat each of the words in the word game song together with your child. Ask your child what the word means. What other words sound like that word? What does that word rhyme with?

Listen to the sound at the beginning of the word. What other words can you think of that start in the same way (e.g., f-un, f-ish, f-ork, f-eel)?

See how many tongue twisters you can make from Tigger's fun words (e.g., twitchin' Tigger's tigger-ific tricks!).

Clap the syllables of Tigger's fun words and count the beats (e.g., Tig/ger). How many other words can you find with one beat or two beats?

Take your child on a walk in your backyard, and build imagination and creativity by identifying and talking about interesting things to put in a scrapbook.

Draw pictures of Tigger and his friends, and tell stories together about their adventures.
