DAN GERSON (Screenwriter/Voice of the
"Geeks") lends his humor and writing skills to Pixar's
latest feature film effort. A native New Yorker, Gerson
moved to Los Angeles in the mid-nineties, after
completing the graduate program at New York
University's prestigious Film School. He worked as a
writer in the television industry, on such shows as
"Duckman," "Something So Right," and several
Canadian sitcoms, until a spec script he had written
came to Disney's attention. A trip to Pixar came next,
and soon Gerson found himself moving to Northern
California, where he would spend the next year and a
half working on the "Monsters, Inc." script. In addition,
his scratch track recordings for Needleman and Smitty,
the two geeky MI employees who are Sulley's biggest
fans, led to him being cast in those roles.
