Fungus -- Frank Oz

FRANK OZ (Fungus) provides the voice of Randall's beleaguered Scare Assistant.

According to Oz, "Fungus is a very nervous guy who is just trying to do his job the best he can. His boss, Randall, is basically a bad guy and he finds himself caught up in the chaos. I'm not a voice person. I'm a character person so I have to know what's behind this guy. Once I sense the character, the voice eventually comes. The more comfortable I am with the character, the more I can get the feeling by osmosis.

"I love Pixar's work so much because of the storytelling and especially all the small little details that go into the characters. All the tiny specific motivated moments that make the characters so believable. 'Toy Story' is one of the best movies ever made and one of my personal favorites."

Oz first achieved fame as one of the major creative forces behind "The Muppets" and "Sesame Street," having created some of the most lovable characters in film and television history. He made his feature film directorial debut with Jim Henson on "The Dark Crystal" and went on to write and direct "The Muppets Take Manhattan," co-produce "The Great Muppet Caper," and executive produce "The Muppet Christmas Carol" and "Muppet Treasure Island." Oz's film directing credits include "The Score," "Bowfinger," "In & Out," "What About Bob?" "Little Shop of Horrors," "The Indian in the Cupboard," and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels."

Oz also provides the voice of Yoda in "The Empire Strikes Back," "Return of the Jedi," "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace," and "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones."
