Ms. Flint -- Bonnie Hunt

BONNIE HUNT (Ms. Flint) returns for her second role in a Pixar film, having previously spun a role as Rosie, the big-hearted black widow in "A Bug's Life." In "Monsters, Inc.," she plays Ms. Flint, the tormented trainer of new recruits to the scare factory.

Hunt is an accomplished screen and television actress who may be most familiar to audiences for her hilarious and unforgettable cameos. She made her feature film debut in Barry Levinson's "Rain Man" as the toothpick-dropping waitress and was the comically-dedicated White House tour guide in Ivan Reitman's hit comedy "Dave." She also had a memorable role in the box office hit "Jerry Maguire," playing Renee Zellweger's quick-witted sister. Moviegoers may also remember her as Marisa Tomei's best friend in Norman Jewison's, "Only You," Charles Grodin's beleaguered wife in "Beethoven" and "Beethoven's 2nd" and as Robin Williams' childhood friend in "Jumanji."

Last year, Hunt wrote, starred in, and made her directorial debut on the film "Return to Me." A romantic comedy shot almost entirely in Hunt's hometown of Chicago, the film stars David Duchovny and Minnie Driver.

On television, she starred in "Bonnie," a comedy she wrote and executive produced for CBS. Prior to that, in 1993, she became the first woman to write, produce and star in her own series, "The Building." The ensemble comedy (executive produced with David Letterman), featured Hunt and her fellow Second City alums playing young adults living in a Chicago apartment building. Her other TV credits include "Grand" and "Davis Rules." Most recently she starred in the Miramax feature "Stolen Summer."

This fall, Hunt is writing, producing, and starring in the new ABC comedy, "Life With Bonnie," for which she also directed the pilot.

A native of Chicago, she's worked as a high school nurses' aide and later became a nurse at Northwestern University Hospital while simultaneously pursuing her acting career, performing with the Second City troupe. She is an active animal rights advocate and sought-after writer.

Hunt lives in Los Angeles with her husband, investment banker, J. Murphy.
