The Walt Disney Company provides environmental
education through its Environmentality
program. Below is more information about Disney's commitment to
environmental
education and the Environmentality
approach to its many business efforts.
Environmentality
What
is "Environmentality?"
At The Walt Disney Company, we believe that respect for the environment
is an important part of how we do business around the world. Therefore,
we have developed several environmental education programs to
further respect for the environment and spread "Environmentality"
throughout the world. These programs include:
Jiminy Cricket's Environmentality
Challenge
Jiminy
Cricket's Environmentality
Challenge is a unique partnership between The Walt Disney Company
and the states of California and Florida, encouraging fifth-grade
students to think more about their environment and why it is "cool
to care" about the earth. Read

Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund
There are many challenges facing wildlife today,
including habitat destruction, conflicts between people and animals
and lack of space for both. As global citizens, The Walt Disney
Company helps experts create solutions to these issues by providing
some of the resources they so desperately need. The Fund was established
in 1995 as a global awards program for the study and protection
of the worlds wildlife and ecosystems. It provides annual awards
to US non-profit conservation organizations working alongside
their peers in other countries. Read
