Lizzie McGuire
Tween sensation Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) is a live-action animated TV series that serves up the comic foibles of 14-year-old Lizzie McGuire. It also features an intermittent animated version of Lizzie that pops up on-screen to give running commentary for real-life Lizzie's conversations, confrontations and crushes. Oh, if the real Lizzie McGuire could only be so sharp-tongued and savvy. Instead, she must experience the triumphs and horrors of being 14 as she and her best friends Miranda Sanchez and Gordo try oh-so-hard to survive seventh grade with their dignity -- and maybe a little popularity -- intact.
Kim Possible
Disney Channels' Kim Possible follows the comedic action-adventures of a typical high school girl (voiced by "Even Stevens'" Christy Carlson Romano) who, in her spare time, happens to save the world from evil villains. Kim Possible's ingenuity and tenacity -- along with her adventurous friends, the likeable Ron Stoppable (voiced by Will Friedle) and his pet, a Naked Mole-rat named Rufus, plus their webmaster buddy Wade (voiced by Tahj Mowry) who feeds them vital information via a special Kimmunicator device - helps this girl-next-door turned superhero foil archenemies around the globe. Then, it's back to her family and homework.
The Proud Family
The NAACP Image Award-nominated The Proud Family is a Disney Channel animated show that follows the adventures and misadventures of Penny, a 14-year-old African American girl who's doing her best to navigate through the mysteries, mishaps and merriment that come with those difficult early years of tween-dom. Fueled by a never-ending passion for growing up, Penny's every encounter inevitably spirals into bigger than life situations filled with hi-jinks, hilarity and humility. Along for the ride are Penny's best friend, the sassy and scheming Dijonay; her irreverent, groovy grandma Suga Mama and her funky little poodle, Puff; Penny's trouble-making toddler twin siblings Bebe and Cece; and, of course, Oscar and Trudy, her loving parents--who don't seem to understand that a responsible 14-year-old like Penny doesn't need a babysitter.
Even Stevens
Now in its third season on Disney Channel, Even Stevens continues to follow the misadventures of Louis Stevens, a typical 13- year-old middle school kid, and his over-achieving older sister Ren. How does an ordinary kid live outside the shadow of his super- successful sibling? And how does the older sister of the junior high class clown live down the embarrassment of a younger brother w ho will do absolutely anything to get a laugh? The series stars Shia LaBeouf (Disney Channel's original movie "Tru Confessions") as Louis Stevens, Christy Carlson Romano (Disney Channel's original movie "Cadet Kelly") as Ren Stevens, Nick Spano ("Body Shots") as their brother Donnie, Donna Pescow ("Angie," "Saturday Night Fever") as their mom Eileen and Tom Virtue ("Introducing Dorothy Dandri dge") as their dad Steve.
The Famous Jett Jackson
Disney Channel's, The Famous Jett Jackson is a coming of age adventure series about Jett Jackson (Lee Thompson Young), a 16-year old television star, who longs to have a normal life. Jett leaves Hollywood behind and moves back to rural North Carolina to live with his father (Gordon Green), who is the local sheriff, and his great-grandmother (Montrose Hagins). However, the simple life is out of reach for Jett, whose friends and fans expect him to live up to the image of Silverstone, the heroic private investigator he plays on television.
The Jersey
The Disney Channel's original series, The Jersey, boasts an all-star line-up of professional sports celebrity guest stars and chronicles the adventures of two teens whose love of sports takes on a life of its own through the fantastic powers of an old fo otball jersey. Each time 15-year-olds Nick Lighter (Michael Galeota) or his cousin, Morgan Hudson (Courtnee Draper), don this speci al jersey, they enter a magical portal that transports them off the couch and into the world of professional athletics-placing them directly into the shoes of major sports celebrities. Produced by Lynch Entertainment and created by Thomas W. Lynch, Barry Gurstein and David Pitlik, The Jersey is based on Disney Channel's original special, "The Magic Jersey," which featured NFL superstars Steve Young, Jerry Rice and Charles Woodson.
So Weird
Disney Channel's So Weird explores various mysteries of the paranormal with musician Molly Phillips (Mackenzie Phillips), her family and their friends, the Bells, as they travel across the United States. The group is joined on this leg of the tour by new cast member Alexz Johnson who plays Annie Thelen, the daughter of an old friend of Molly's. Teen heartthrobs Erik von Detten and Eric Lively appear in the roles of the Bells' sons, Clu and Carey, respectively.
Boy Meets World
Now on Disney Channel, Boy Meets World is a coming-of-age comedy centered around the life of Cory Matthews (Ben Savage), a confused yet inquisitive middle child who continually runs up against all the bumps and curves adolescence can throw at him. Beginning with Cory's life in the fifth grade, the series chronicles the adventures, and misadventures, of Cory through his senior year of high school.
Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Based on the hit feature film, the popular TV show blows the shrinking concept wide open to include a myriad of experiments gone awry. Disney Channel's Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a one-hour comedy/adventure series starring Peter Scolari as the lovable but befuddled scientist Wayne Szalinski. The well-meaning Wayne constructs a variety of inventions, including the Shrink-Ray, Neuron Nudger and Brainiactivator, that create hair-raising and hilarious predicaments for his wife Dianne (Woods), their kids Amy (Tuck) and Nick (Dekker), and their friends. The series picks up with the Szalinski household relocating to Matheson, Colorado. Each episode incorporates new technologies and digital effects to feature the family in various new adventures.
Sabrina, The Animated Series
Now on Disney Channel, Sabrina, The Animated Series is a spin-off of Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. The show features the main character Sabrina as a 12 year-old in Jr. High School just developing her powers. Her best friends are Chloe and Harvey. Chloe is the only mortal that knows that Sabrina is a witch, and Harvey is still Sabrina's secret crush. Sabrina's aunts, Hilda and Zelda are teenagers and she has an Uncle Quigley. Watch Sabrina and Spookie Jar cast magic spells. "Sabrina" is produced by DIC Entertainment.
Smart Guy
Disney Channel's Smart Guy, starring Tahj Mowry, is a warm-hearted comedy series chronicling the life of T.J. Henderson, a ten-year-old kid who is so smart he's sent directly from 4th grade to 10th grade. T.J. can do everything from defining algebraic equations to analyzing Latin American novelists, but going to school among teenagers, including his brother and sister, proves to be his most challenging lesson of all.
Sister, Sister
Now on Disney Channel, real-life twin sisters Tamera and Tia Mowry star in this unconventional family comedy about a reunited set of identical twin teenage girls. Through experiencing a variety of family conflicts and teen issues, the twins learn to work with each other, as well as their respective parents, in creating a cohesive and often hysterical family unit.
