LABOR MAINTENANCE ANALYST PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP

Walt Disney World's Labor Maintenance Analyst team is focused on developing analytically based workload models that will match staffing requirements with guest demand to ensure quality guest service and optimal labor utilization.

Intern Responsibilities:

• Support the area's scheduling team and Labor Maintenance Analysts (LMAs) by assisting with ongoing analysis of demand forecasts and input developed workload into operational scheduling system, deployment system, and headcount modeling system
• Maintain and update documentation for all lines of business, and keep accurate records of all workload changes
• Schedule, prepare, and manage data collection studies
• Analyze collected data using statistical techniques
• Maintain labor for certain locations in forecast system
• Provide support to the Global LMA team with labor related projects.

• Ability to coordinate projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a highly organized and efficient manner
• Ability to work/partner effectively with all levels of Cast Members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Knowledge of PC-based databases and spreadsheets
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
• Completion of at least first year of school and a statistics class

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge and/or experience with labor systems
• Background in Industrial Engineering, Finance or related field
