Very similar to the Cultural Representative Program, the Fellowship program also includes a structured educational element and community involvement. Additional qualifications include assuming other duties as needed to represent the participants country, and having strong knowledge of that country's history, culture, and customs. Participants must also be comfortable speaking before large groups of people to share this knowledge.
Participants work in a variety of operational positions on a rotational basis, according to the country represented. Opportunities may include Food & Beverage, Merchandise, Attractions, or Transportation. Participants will also act as cultural ambassadors, sharing information with Guests throughout World Showcase and the local community.
This comprehensive program requires attendance at mandatory seminars. These seminars cover a range of subjects, including Disney Business Management and Philosophy, and Issues in International and Intercultural Awareness -- all taught by participants.
