ATTRACTIONS
Attractions — Attractions Cast Members staff our popular ride and show locations throughout our Theme Parks. Their function is to greet guests, give lengthy, memorized narrations to large groups, load and unload guests, operate sophisticated ride systems, provide audience control, and always ensure the safety of our guests.
Parking — Working in one of the parking lots in the MAGIC KINGDOM® Park, EPCOT®, Disney-MGM Studios or DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM® Theme Park, Cast Members' responsibilities include directing traffic in parking lots, operating passenger-carrying trams as well as vans and trucks, memorizing a prepared spiel with guest information, and communicating via microphone. At the Auto Plaza, Cast Members collect payments and distribute literature or parking passes. Requires working outdoors in different types of weather.
TRANSPORTATION
Bus Driver — Cast Members in Bus Operations drive multiple routes, based on guest demand, all across Walt Disney World® Resort. Cast Members gain an understanding of the entire property to answer guest questions, spiel stops and safety information over a microphone, load and unload guests, and assist guests utilizing wheelchairs to gain access to the bus via disabled lift. Cast Members also conduct vehicle inspections, and ensure the safety of our Guests and Cast Members. A U.S. Drivers License is required. A Commercial Driver License is not required to apply for the Bus Driver role but will be required if considered for the Bus Driver role.
Monorails/Watercraft — Some of the responsibilities of Cast Members working in transportation include piloting a monorail vehicle or multi-passenger boat, assisting in loading and unloading guests, providing for the safety of our guests and answering guest questions.
FOOD & BEVERAGE (non-tipped)
Dishwasher — The responsibilities of a Steward (dishwasher) in one of our restaurants include utilizing large dish machines, manually washing pots and pans, stocking clean dishes, silverware and glassware, heavy lifting, emptying trashcans, and mopping.
Quick Service — Some of the duties of Cast Members in a quick-service restaurant include taking orders, operating a point-of-sale system (cash register), cash handling, filling food and beverage orders, general cleaning, heavy lifting, pushing and pulling, and food preparation.
Outdoor Foods — Some of the duties of Cast Members in Outdoor Foods include working outside, selling food and beverage from an outdoor wagon, handling currency often without a cash register, heavy lifting, pushing and pulling, stocking and keeping inventory of all items sold.
Seater — As a seater in one of the many full service restaurants at Walt Disney World® Resort, Cast Members will greet and seat guests, manage priority seating schedules with the use of a computer, maintain a seating chart and resolving guest situations, bus tables, run food, clean, handle cash, fold napkins and assist the service staff.
CHARACTERS
Character Performers — Our Theme Parks and Resorts provide a variety of shows, greetings, and parades featuring Disney Characters and Puppeteers. As Character Performers, Cast Members portray specific costumed character roles within specific height ranges, perform atmosphere meet and greet sets with our Guests, sign autographs and pose for photographs. This position is a physically demanding environment working in hot costumes. Qualified candidates must have the ability to meet movement and animation skill evaluations.
Character Attendant — Cast Members provide Guests with information about Walt Disney World® Resort, including show schedules, attraction information, character set locations and times. Additional responsibilities include maintaining show quality and Character integrity, directing Guests on appropriate photographs, providing audience control, set up and removing of stanchions, ropes and poles, retrieving and arranging strollers, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the work location. This is a globally scheduled role and Cast Members may work multiple locations throughout Walt Disney World® Resort including theme parks and resorts.
DISNEY'S MAGICAL EXPRESS AIRPORT REPRESENTATIVE
Operate daily airport arrival, which includes meeting and escorting guests throughout the airport, checking them in for their Disney's Magical Express experience, and loading the motor coaches for departure to the Walt Disney World® Resort. Monitor arriving flight times and communicate delays/changes to Base operations. Partner with Disney's Magical Express Base Operations to ensure that any special needs for our guests are met, including meeting delayed flights and expediting their airport arrival/transportation experience, wheelchair assistance, lost and found assistance, Disney's Magical Express and Walt Disney World® Resort reservations assistance. Computer skills required. Position works at the Orlando International Airport. Part-Time Requires 3 days of availability, with one day being a Saturday or Sunday.
DISNEY'S PHOTOPASS PHOTOGRAPHER
This is an hourly role which is responsible for capturing memories for our Guests in our Parks, Resorts, and Dining locations. Cast Members proactively approach Guests to offer photo opportunities and suggestively sell Guests on the variety of services available through Disney PhotoPass. They will utilize the latest in digital photography technology to take high-quality Guest photos based on departmental guidelines.
DISNEY RESERVATION SALES AGENT
Cast Members create magical Guest experiences by determining the individual needs of our Guests and matching their wishes and desires with relevant Disney products and services. This is an hourly role plus incentive and the position is located at the Disney Reservation Center in Orlando or Tampa, Florida. Please visit

CULINARY
Some of the responsibilities of Cast Members in one of the many kitchens in the Walt Disney World® Resort include preparing and cooking guest meals, working a hot line, working with fryers, grills, and stoves. Cast Members may also work a cold line preparing salads and sandwiches. General food production includes the preparation of recipes, peeling, slicing, dicing fruits and vegetables, and operating kitchen equipment such as a slicer and mixer. Responsibilities also include exhibiting a clean and sanitary work area. (Full service line experience is required.)
CUSTODIAL HOST/HOSTESS
Some of the responsibilities of working in Custodial include cleaning tables, emptying trashcans, cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, working with cleaning chemicals, and providing guest information. Custodial Cast Members are also busy during the third shift. Heavy duty industrial cleaning, including pressure washing, waxing, buffing, high dusting, and heavy lifting are all part of this challenging position.
HOUSEKEEPING HOST/HOSTESS
Housekeeping Cast Members perform duties including stripping and making beds, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning guest bathrooms and fixtures, replenishing linen, and pushing large carts. Cast Members also restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms, inspect rooms for cleanliness and appearance, and respond in a timely manner to guests' requests for items, directions, and/or other information requested.
RECREATION
Lifeguard — As a lifeguard in a Water Park or Resort pool area, Cast Members observe our guests and Cast Members as they swim, and provide emergency medical attention, if needed. Cast Members also keep pool areas clean, answer guest questions, and provide boat or towel rentals.
Recreation also includes Slide Operations, Marina Operations, and Pool Attendants. Ask your Recruiter for information about these roles.
