The following Entertainment roles are available as
part of the Disney College Program at the Disneyland® Resort. The
descriptions below provides an overview of the responsibilities included in
these roles. It is important to note that these roles may include, but are not
limited to, the description below.
All roles may include prolonged exposure to outside
elements, including heat/humidity, cold temperatures, and/or wet conditions.
Characters (Entertainment)
In this role,
Cast Members bring our famous Characters to life! Cast Members have
opportunities to interact with Guest of all ages from around the world and
create everlasting memories. This position is physically demanding, as Cast
members work in hot, confining costumes. Cast members will work in a fast-past
environment with heavy Guest interaction. This is a global role and Cast
Members will work in multiple locations across the Disneyland Resort
Including off property events.
Responsibilities may include: Signing
autographs, posing for photographs, restaurant dining experiences, and having
the potential to perform in parade and puppeteer roles. Audition

Special consideration will be given to Disney
Animated Character "look-alikes" and individuals 4' 8" - 5' and 6' - 6' 3".
Entertainment Host
Entertainment Host
Cast Members provide Guests with information about the Disneyland Resort. This
could include show schedules, attraction information, Character set locations
and set times. Individuals must exhibit a positive, friendly, helpful attitude
to Guests. This is a global role, and Cast Members may work in multiple
locations across the Disneyland Resort, including both theme parks, any
of our hotels or other off-property locations.
Responsibilities may include: maintaining
show quality and Character integrity; directing Guests on taking appropriate
photographs; providing audience control; set up and removal of stanchions,
ropes and poles; retrieving and arranging strollers; standing for extended
periods; working outdoors; and maintaining cleanliness and order in your work
location.
How to Apply, Interview, and Audition
You must first complete the "Role Checklist" and
application and attend an on-campus
presentation or E-Presentation.
You will be scheduled for an interview following the
on-campus presentation or you will schedule a telephone interview following the
E-Presentation.
After your interview, you will be provided with
additional audition information. You must attend the audition to be considered
for an Entertainment position.
