TITLE: Manage Loss Prevention

CURRENT ROLE: Our main focus is to protect Disney Store assets by developing programs that educate our field management team and cast members on all internal and external issues that contribute to profit loss. These programs allow us to empower the employee to identify and resolve problems.

Additionally, the Loss Prevention Department is responsible for ensuring the safety of our cast members and guests in both the field and home base.
CURRENT PROGRAMS: We have recently developed a Business Resumption and Crisis Management Plan for the field and home base. The plan establishes the organization, actions and procedures necessary to protect the health of cast and guests. The intent of the program is to minimize operational and financial impacts.

Although we are based in Glendale, we have stores across North America and Puerto Rico. We are continually working to find ways to keep everyone informed on all the latest news and procedures. We are currently involved in four different training programs at this time, including programs on Store Manager Development, cast member Development, Lead Cast Member Development and an Awareness Program called Partners on the Move. The objective is for all levels of employees to have increased visibility as to what the current issues are and how they impact the business.

THOUGHTS ON DISNEY: During my time at Disney, I have been afforded the opportunity to participate in work that is exciting and always evolving. We're always looking to do things better; we're never satisfied with the status quo. After four years with the company, I can't imagine working anywhere else.

THOUGHTS ON TEAMWORK: My team is an incredibly motivating group of people. I look forward to coming to work every day to see where we'll go or what we'll do next. Every day is an adventure. I'm glad I'm here to experience it.
