Even though you'll be tempted to stay at work day and night, you're going to need a place to live because, quite frankly, we don't have enough storage space for all of your stuff. Luckily, you have a vast array of locales from which to choose.
Local
Sleep is important. And we all know that the most restful sleep happens in the last half-hour when you know your coworkers are already up and driving to work from farther away.
There are plenty of places to live right here in Burbank. It's clean, quiet, safe and most important it's close ... Did we mention how important sleep is? There also are nearby Glendale; the charming Toluca Lake area, which is one of the more posh areas of Burbank; the Universal City/North Hollywood area, home of the NoHo Theatre and Arts District; and Studio City. All of these areas have homes and apartments ranging from "very affordable" to "Oh my! Good thing I work for Disney."
A Stone's Throw Away in the Foothills
Bordered by Angeles National Forest to the north, beautiful La Canada/Flintridge will provide you with that "back-to-nature" feel. Pasadena, home of the world-famous Tournament of Roses Parade, is chock-full of a variety of living arrangements. Altadena is just like Pasadena, except with an "Alta" in front. OK, it's actually completely different. If you're looking for a homey country feel, this is your place.
Hip L.A.
Ahhhh. You want to live next door to some guy who's going to be famous one day so that you can say, "I knew him when ..." You can't get much hipper than Los Feliz or nearby Silver Lake. There's nowhere to park, but it's worth it. We're talkin' HIP people. Where else can you go swing dancing or to the Laserium all without getting in your car? You will get in your car, though. It's true ... nobody walks in L.A.
There's also Hollywood, which is really part of L.A, and West Hollywood, which is really NOT part of Hollywood.
Beverly Hills. Swimmin' pools and movie stars. That says it all.
These areas are all exciting, culturally diverse, and waiting for you with open arms.
The Coast
For those who crave the ocean air there's Marina del Rey, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Venice Beach ... Like the California coastline, the list goes on. Seriously ... for miles.
To the West
Sherman Oaks and Calabasas are a couple of areas to the west of Burbank. Does the term "suburban oasis" do anything for you?
To the North
Santa Clarita and Valencia. Beautiful new homes and planned communities. Close to one of Southern California's major amusement parks and very close to where you're going to work.
These are just a few of the literally hundreds of neighborhoods and communities to choose from that are within commuting distance. It's true what they say about California's rich diversity. There's something for everyone. We can't wait for you to join us and add your unique style and creativity to our communities!
