Story sketches - The storymen
at the Disney
Studio prepared their stories not by writing a
script, but by creating story sketches depicting
the action, which would be pinned up in order
on a storyboard. These sketches, also referred
to as storyboard sketches, were often in any
number of mediums--pen and ink, pencil,
colored pencil, pastel, watercolor, and in later
years, felt-tipped marker.
