- It is not possible to consider the Disney films and television shows
of the 1960s without being aware of the music of the Sherman Brothers.
Beginning with popular songs for Annette, they went on to compose songs
for such films as "The Parent Trap," "Summer Magic," "That Darn Cat," and "The
Jungle Book, "reaching their peak with their Academy Award-winning stint
on "Mary Poppins." But, it wasn't a film song, but one from the New York
World's Fair, which has likely turned out to be their most ubiquitous
--It's a Small World.
