Sherman, Richard (b. 1928) and Robert (b. 1925) - It is not possible to consider the Disney films and television shows of the 1960s without being aware of the music of the Sherman Brothers. Beginning with popular songs for Annette, they went on to compose songs for such films as "The Parent Trap," "Summer Magic," "That Darn Cat," and "The Jungle Book, "reaching their peak with their Academy Award-winning stint on "Mary Poppins." But, it wasn't a film song, but one from the New York World's Fair, which has likely turned out to be their most ubiquitous --It's a Small World.
