Retlaw - When the Walt Disney
company
purchased its founder's personal company,
WED, Walt created another company to handle
the his affairs and his families. It was named
Retlaw Enterprises, or "Walter" spelled
backward. Walt turned over to Retlaw his
personal ownership of the trains and monorail at
Disneyland, as well as the rights to his name and
likeness. Retlaw sold these to the Disney
company in the 1980s.
