Personality animation - While
animation
began in 1906, well before Walt Disney got
started in the business, he was one of the first to
create real personalities in his characters.
Mickey Mouse started a trend in personality
animation, which reached a new plateau with the
"Three Little Pigs" in 1933. It was this ability to
create personality in a character that enabled the
Disney artists to have seven distinct personalities
among the Dwarfs in "Snow White and the Seven
Dwarfs."
